Some dogs are very reluctant to take baths, making parents very helpless. In fact, such dogs should be bathed accordingly.
Dogs that do not want to be bathed should be given the correct method of entering the bath:
The first step is to stand with the dog’s head to your left side, with your left hand blocking the underside of the dog’s head to the chest area to hold the dog’s body in place. Take it one step at a time, you can’t rush it.
Stand with your dog’s head to your left side, with your left hand blocking the underside of your dog’s head to the chest area to keep it in place. Place your right hand on the side of the tub, gently drench with warm water in the order of arms, back, abdomen, hind limbs, shoulders, and forelimbs, then apply shampoo, rub gently, and then comb very quickly with a comb, and use your fingers to press on both sides of the anus before rinsing, to squeeze out all the anal gland secretions.
Cover both ears with your left or right hand from the dog’s lower palate upward, gently rinse with water from the tip of the nose downward, taking care to prevent water from flowing into the ears, then rinse all parts of the body from front to back with water and immediately wrap a towel around the head to dry off the water.
Long-haired dogs can be dried with a hair dryer. While blowing, keep combing the hair, and as long as the dog’s body is not dry, it should be combed until the hair is dry.
