When a coyote or bear tries to attack the herd, the Cocker Spaniel will immediately step forward to protect the herd, and its thick coat can also withstand bad weather. • 1. After bathing and blow drying the fur until it is fluffy, face your Cormon and use a comb to work through the hair on the head so it does not stick to the face and cut off any hair that covers the eyes.
  • 2. Separate the hair on the nose and mouth and cut it short so that it doesn’t block the view. Then brush down the hair on the nose and mouth.
  • 3. The hair at the top of the head is trimmed into a round shape, blending with the ears and jaw hair to form a half-moon shape.
  • 4. Keep the jaw hair neat, but do not cut it short.
  • 5. Keep the hair under the ears natural.
  • 6. The overall outline of the head is made round and constantly trimmed to maintain this effect.
  • 7. Cut the front leg into a straight shape so that it looks like a cylinder from a distance.
  • 8. Let the hair on the chest form a unity with the jaw hair, the neck, and the head so that the circle extends down.
  • 9. Trim the hair between the legs, aligning it perfectly when viewed from the side.
  • 10. Trim the dorsal line (i.e., the upper part of the body from head to tail profile line) to the same level, with the hairs along the back slightly shorter than those at the neck.
  • 11. Leave the hair on the tail long and keep it slightly shorter near the anus.
