Birth, aging, illness and death have always been the invariable law in the world, and no living things can escape these four words, so living things on earth are from birth to death process. Living things have certain signs and phenomena when they are born, so people will know that a new life is about to be born in this world, but there are certain signs when they are about to die, which can let the surrounding things know that they are going to leave the world. Today we are going to look at the abnormal behavior of a cat when it is about to die, and it is able to say goodbye to its family members in time.
The first can be seen from the mental state of cats. Dying cats are generally lethargic and weak, they do everything in a lazy manner, and the response to the stimulus around is very slow, sometimes no response, so this kind of cat is basically dying. Also, cats have no appetite and are getting thinner and thinner. The eyes were still colourless and the fur was no longer pretty, so many people judged the cat to be dying from mental signs. But for the most part, it’s pretty accurate.
The second is breathing. If a cat is healthy, its breathing is very frequent and sometimes audible. But if it is a dying cat, its breathing will be very slow, sometimes its abdomen has a very obvious rise and fall phenomenon, and sometimes it will hear very abnormal breathing sounds. The third is to tell if a cat is dying from its ears. Cats usually have a lot of secretions from their ears before they die, and their auditory response to their surroundings is very dull.
Number four is to tell if a cat is dying by its eyes. In general, the cat’s eyes before death are very lackluster, and their eyelids are almost covered, in addition, the eyeball has a non-focus performance, which is what we call pupil astigmatism in medicine. The fifth one is the cat’s posture. When a cat dies, it has to walk very hard and move very slowly. It usually likes to lie down and will not move when handled. Number six is that cats become very slow to react to their surroundings.
