Signs -: Fever

Fever is a common sign of illness and is a precursor to many fatal conditions, so it should not be taken lightly. The normal body temperature of dogs is slightly higher than that of humans, around 38.5 degrees, with puppies having a higher temperature.

Dogs shivering sickly because of neurological problems, it may be encephalitis, canine distemper, etc., so owners who find that the dog appears to be shivering sickly appear, must not hesitate to take the dog to the hospital for medical treatment.

Sign 3: Loss of appetite

If there is nothing unusual about the food itself, but the dog’s appetite drops significantly, the dog may be sick. Many diseases can cause a dog to lose its appetite, such as gastrointestinal diseases and other systemic acute infectious diseases.

Sign 4: Difficulty in breathing

If your dog’s breathing rate is significantly faster and deeper, it may indicate a respiratory disease such as bronchitis, bronchiolitis, pneumothorax, etc. and should not be taken lightly.

Sign 5: Constipation

If you notice that your dog is having poor or disrupted bowel movements, you must adjust your dog’s diet or serious digestive disorders may occur.

Sign #6: Diarrhea

Simple diarrhea can be caused by over-eating and indigestion, which can be dealt with by fasting for a day, but diarrhea caused by parasites or other infectious diseases is not so simple, so don’t take your dog’s diarrhea lightly.

Sign 7: Vomiting

It is normal for dogs to vomit when they eat a foreign object, and for some dogs to vomit when they get carsick. However, if severe vomiting occurs, not only of food, but also of gastric juices or water, then it may be gastritis and requires prompt medical attention.
