Thrush, a pet bird, is not difficult to raise. As long as you understand certain knowledge and control methods, it is not difficult. In the process of breeding, we need to control the number of birds in a cage, and provide a certain amount of insects, leafy vegetables and special feed as food. In addition to these, the breeder has to ensure the temperature in the cage. In his spare time, the owner has to take him out for a walk regularly to improve the spirit of the thrush.
Thrushes are not picky eaters. Although they grow in the wild, they also like to eat insects, and they can also eat some plant-based feed. Moreover, thrushes can learn sound.
① Control the same cage. It is not allowed to put more than one thrush bird in one cage, because the thrush bird has a changeable personality, and the breeder needs to judge the number of thrushes in the same cage in combination with the actual situation, so as to avoid a phenomenon of mate contention and unpleasant accidents.
② Feed and feeding method. Although the feeding of feed is introduced earlier, it is not necessary to provide insects as the staple food. If there are vegetables planted at home, you can pick some tender leaves as feed, and if there are no vegetables planted, you can buy some fresh vegetables to feed. If you choose insects, you can use grasshoppers and earthworms to feed them three times a day, once in the morning, once in the afternoon and once in the evening.
③ Feeding environment. Because thrushes stay in the cage all the time, we should control the daily temperature in the cage. We can put the cage in a sunny area so that it can absorb an appropriate amount of sunshine, and then take the cage to a suitable place for feeding. Another benefit of this is to prevent disease and odor.
④ Walk the birds regularly. Thrush is naturally lively and cheerful. You can’t leave it in the cage all day. If you keep it, you have to guarantee its life. Take it out for a walk in your spare time, eliminate its agitation, improve its spirituality, and make its body muscles move and expand moderately.
