1. Reward

Rewards are not limited to food, but also petting and praise from the owner. The purpose of our training is to “teach”, not “scold”. The best way is to give treats, praise and petting while it does the right thing, so that the dog understands the owner’s happy mood.

2. The password should be clear

In order for the dog to understand and remember, it is best to use short, clearly pronounced statements when training commands, and they should not be said repeatedly. When giving commands, avoid loud atmospheres or having an angry tone of voice. Dogs are very sensitive and avoid dogs associating being scolded with training.

Note that if you reward leftward behavior, then you can only reward behavior that continues to go leftward, more leftward. All behaviors that are not to the left or to the left are not as high as the last one cannot be rewarded. Otherwise, your animal will be crazy, left and right reward trainer in the eyes of the animal may be a complete madman!

3. Avoid superfluous compliments

Compliments to the dog should be limited to when it is very obedient. If the dog is praised at every turn, it will confuse him and he will not know what kind of behavior he can be praised for. This makes it difficult to carry on with critical training.

4. Correction should be timely

The moment your dog is about to do a “no-no”, stop him loudly and decisively. If you reprimand him afterwards, he will not understand the reason and will continue to do the “no”. Worse yet, dogs that have been reprimanded frequently for unknown reasons will develop anxiety behaviors

5. Rewards should be timely

Compared to us telling the dog what not to do loudly to stop it, we advocate more when it does the right time to give it a reward, because even if the dog understands what is not to do, but it does not know what can be done, it is not to achieve the effect of training. So reward it, praise it for the right behavior, build its self-confidence, with self-confidence the dog will be able to perform better!

Finally, please understand that training dogs can not be done overnight, and must start with the simplest non-interference environment, and then gradually increase the level of interference, switching to different environments to improve. If you come up with a dog in the pet park practice Frisbee also said that the dog does not listen to the editor can only say that the Frisbee and then fun will not have that group of small partners fun, not lost on the good.

I am super cute yo
