Cognitive skills
Labradors usually don’t have time to scream when they have work to do, so parents can rub their favorite toys before leaving the house and leave their own scent on them. When they can’t see their owner, the lonely Labrador spends more time looking for the smell of their owner on the toy, and thus forgets the bark.
Make a sound
For the more neurotic Labradors, they will scream at the slightest disturbance. If the home can not completely shut out the environmental noise, might as well make some noise as a disturbance.
In response to it
Sometimes the Labrador barks just to convey a message to the master. If the master responds appropriately and expresses appreciation, knowing that the task is complete, the Labrador will naturally shut up!
Exercise more
Take Labrador out to play every day. This sufficient exercise can consume Labrador’s energy. After playing or running all day, Labrador can have a good sleep at home and won’t waste energy.
Bite bones
Labradors won’t have time to bark if they have a big bone to muzzle them. For Labradors, the more difficult it is to chew, the more challenging it is, so when you are ready to go out, prepare a favorite toy or toy for your Labrador to help them pass the boring time.
