The well-behaved, obedient and beautiful Ragdoll cat is the little princess in the hearts of many cat slaves. Ragdoll cats are gentle and relatively easy to raise, but there are still some things we can not do, otherwise it will have a bad effect on our little princess.
1, not timely clean up the cat litter
Ragdoll cats love cleanliness, if we fail to clean the cat litter in time, it will make it feel that its toilet is dirty and not willing to defecate in it. 2. Long-term ungroomed hair
A Ragdoll cat’s long, gorgeous coat is its pride and joy, and we should take ten to twenty minutes out of our day to brush it. Long periods of non-grooming can easily cause your cat’s fur to become tangled, and can also increase its risk of developing skin conditions.
3. Feed it human food
Ragdoll cats have extremely delicate intestines and can only digest meat and a few other foods, usually cat food. The meals we eat have a high salt and oil content, which is not only difficult for cats to digest, but may also cause diarrhea, vomiting, hair loss and other adverse reactions.
4. Keep it loose
Ragdoll cats are cats with a gentle temperament and can be easily bullied by their own kind, so they are better suited to nesting in the house with the elderly or children rather than going out to play with us.
5. Often leave it cold
Ragdoll cats are quiet, well-behaved and very clingy, and their favorite thing is to have their owners by their side. If you have a busy life and don’t have much time to spend with it, it’s best to get another pet to keep it company, otherwise the Ragdoll cat will probably run away from home due to loneliness.
6. Feeding various health products
Many people, in order for the Ragdoll cat to be able to burst its hair, will feed it a variety of health products that have the function of beautiful hair, such as nutritional creams, hair-reducing creams, egg yolks and so on. First of all, the gastrointestinal function of kittens under four months is still too weak, and can’t digest these things very well. Secondly, excessive supplementation is likely to backfire and cause damage to the cat’s body.
Pampering has to be done in a proper way, and the wrong kind of coddling can have a negative effect on Ragdoll cats instead. Generally speaking, there are only three things we need to feed our cats: clean water, suitable cat food, and probiotics.
