Perhaps in the eyes of many people, dogs just eat bones, so a lot of bones fed to dogs, do not know that bones are not easy to digest, easy to scratch the dog’s esophagus. So how do we feed the dogs? Here I’ll share some of the key points with you.

We know that Border Collies are very athletic, so they have a strong appetite. As owners, we should choose the right food according to their physical condition and usually observe their tastes. Secondly, growth and development is about balanced nutrition, in addition to meeting the Border Collie’s demand for meat, we must also pay attention to their health, thus we can add cooked lean meat to the dog food or use goat’s milk to soak the dog food, while paying attention to the freshness of the meat.

In addition to meat, the Border Collie also needs to supplement some vitamins and fiber at the right time, which requires owners to feed our Border Collie some fresh fruits and vegetables, so with the use of dog food, can promote digestion and absorption, while clearing the grease left in the stomach, to maintain nutritional health. We can also feed some lean meat porridge or millet porridge to the side shepherd, the same can achieve a similar effect.

It is also worth mentioning that Border Collies are athletic animals, and we need to give them enough food that can replenish calcium and strengthen their body to increase immunity, such as cooked lean meat, cooked egg yolk, chicken, duck and fish (not bones), etc. to meet their metabolic needs. And the intake of appropriate vegetable oil can also strengthen the body, while going under the hair of the dander, reduce the occurrence of skin diseases, so that the hair more oily water full. The most important thing is to ensure that the border shepherd’s drinking apparatus has been water, water in the border shepherd body accounted for a large proportion, especially in the summer, the amount of movement, water consumption is fast, the water supplement is particularly important.
