Some veterinarians and senior cat slaves believe that there is a relationship with feeding habits, the last production process of cat food is spray oil, if you casually put cat food in the food bowl for a long time, the surface of the cat food after the spray oil treatment is very easy to add value to the bacteria, if you want to feed the cat food, the feeding time is limited to one hour is appropriate, do not eat it put away, and to develop a good feeding habits.

How to treat black chin in cats

Folliculitis is not a major disease and is more common, but it can be a waste of time to treat. When the symptoms are mild, you can refer to the following ways of treatment.

Green tea water wipe

Gently rubbing your cat’s affected area with green tea water has a very good effect, this way is less irritating to your cat’s skin, but keep rubbing it every day until the folliculitis is gone.

  Sulfur soap, laundry soap

The effect of using this type of soap is really obvious, but the smell is too irritating for cats to like and the residue is more, it is not very recommended to use on the chin, you can wash the tail, but be sure to rinse it off.

  Anti-inflammatory lotion

Purchase a cat-specific lotion at the vet and use it according to the instructions on it or doctor’s orders to avoid allergies or licking that can cause discomfort for your cat.

For mild black chin (uninfected) do not need to be too aggressive for treatment, using green tea to clean or pay attention to the diet can help, excessive blind use of medication may aggravate the mild condition causing discomfort to the cat.

If the symptoms of black chin in cats are severe, this is when the veterinarian will recommend that we use an antibiotic ointment. We trim the hair from the location where we found the black spot, then wipe the black part with a cotton swab, and after a few wipes, apply antibiotic ointment to the skin where we found the black spot.

Most cats return to normal with a simple cleaning or medication, and as cat slaves we need to help our cats clean their dishes regularly to prevent bacteria buildup.
